Solitaire Classic

Solitaire Classic

──────────   ♠♦♣♥   ──────────

The design of this Solitaire game is kept classic. You see your cards on a simple green felt, which reminds of the gambling tables in casinos. The cards themselves have the blue and white ornamental pattern on the back that you probably know from real card games. To play Solitaire, you can choose between the „Draw 1“ and „Draw 3“ variants.

Once in the game, you will see a small gearwheel in the bottom left corner. These are the settings. With a circular arrow in the lower right corner you can undo the last step of the game. In a brown bar at the top of the screen (and thus the edge of the playing field) you can see your record in this round on the right and your current score. It is only saved as long as you leave the browser window open. In the top left corner you can see how long you have been playing and how many moves you have made.

Difficulty levels of Solitaire Classic

──────────   ♠♦♣♥   ──────────

If you want to play classic Solitaire, you can choose between two difficulty levels right from the start. For those of you who haven’t played solitaire that often, we recommend the „Draw 1“ option. This means that you will always be dealt one new card from the face-down deck, which you can either play or add to your deck. With the more difficult option „3 Cards“ three cards are dealt. However, you cannot access all three dealt cards, but only the top card. Once you have played or inserted the top card, you can access the next card without having to reveal it again. For advanced players, this has a positive effect on the number of moves and thus on the score.

Displays of the card game

──────────   ♠♦♣♥   ──────────

If you have some experience in playing classic solitaire, you know this: Time goes on and on, you collect moves to infinity and somehow it doesn’t progress. The cards just don’t fit. The good thing is to keep track. The time display helps you not to spend too much time playing solitaire. After all, you have other things to do in life! The display of your moves helps you to optimize your strategy. The goal of classic solitaire is to clear the piles of cards with as few moves as possible. You won the game? Look for the score display in the top right corner! If you want to play classic solitaire again, you can try to beat your previous score!

A tip: While playing classic solitaire, you can undo the last move. But this is also a move. So use this trick wisely if you want to increase your score.

You can also start a new game (with a different shuffle) and choose between „Draw 1“ and „Draw 3“. If you want to return to the game, click on „Continue“.

Classic Solitaire is easy and promises a lot of fun: You sort the played cards in descending order, always alternating colors. This means that you can place a black queen on top of a red king, a red jack on top of a black queen, a black ten on top of a red jack, a red nine on top of a red ten, and so on. Just click on the cards. They will automatically be placed on the correct row. Alternatively you can drag the cards with the cursor. And now have fun playing classic solitaire!
